Are Landmark Windows Still ENERGY STAR® Certified?

Yes. Landmark Windows can be built to meet ENERGY STAR® certification by using modern glazing, thermal breaks, and low-E coatings, delivering insulation and efficiency comparable to top-performing windows while maintaining a landmark-appropriate look.

How Do Landmark Windows Compare to Newer High-Performance Brands?

They hold their own. Our projects show Landmark Windows meeting similar insulation and sound ratings as modern competitors, with the added benefit of custom historic detailing that mass-produced units often lack.

Do Landmark Windows Still Meet 2025 Energy Efficiency Standards?

Yes. With insulated glass units, gas fills, and thermally broken frames, Landmark Windows can be specified to satisfy current energy codes while remaining compliant with NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission rules.

Are Landmark Windows Worth It Compared to Newer Competitors?

Often, yes. Off-the-shelf windows may not pass Landmarks review, which risks delays and rework. Landmark-approved units combine code compliance, long-term efficiency, and historic accuracy—typically the smarter long-term investment.

What’s the Current Warranty and Performance Rating of Landmark Windows?

Manufacturers we work with provide strong warranties on frames, glazing, and finishes, and performance ratings that meet or exceed industry standards.
