A return to DeKalb Avenue
We worked on this handsome red brick Landmark, installing ten custom high performance windows from Jeld-Wen on four levels.

We love getting called back to the same neighborhood or block to do more work in the community. This time, it was right next door to one of our former Brooklyn projects.
We worked on a handsome red brick Landmark, installing ten custom high performance windows from Jeld-Wen on four levels.
The argon-filled panes have a low-e film. These high performance measures ensure the interiors will stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer. This not only saves money on utilities, but also lowers the building’s carbon footprint.
The two-over-two double hung windows are finished in black, which contrasts beautifully with the brick exterior. The color choice also complements the neighboring building’s custom green trim.

The high performance measures don’t impact the clarity of the glass in the least.

The building owner chose a custom exterior color for this Landmark renovation.
Jeld-Wen’s custom wood double hung windows give building owners a nearly unlimited number of options to choose from. There are nine wood options available in 27 stock exterior colors and 63 stock interior finishes with some reduced VOC options. Custom paint colors can be added in the field.
There are also ten different hardware finishes.
The tilt-sash windows come in high performance, tinted, textured, or protective options and three different options for divided lites.
This homeowner-friendly product has a 20-year warranty and is suitable for both replacements and new construction.
The project to the right utilized 17 custom wood double hungs with high performance glass and simulated divided lights.
Grilles between the glass are a low-maintenance.
Full surround removable grilles gives the look of divided glass.
Simulated divided lites are permanent grilles on both the interior and exterior, for the most authentic look.
